Wisdom and Vocation in Uncertain Times

In June more than 60 former postgraduates from all around the world participated in the first ‘Oxford Pastorate Online Alumni Gathering’. Alumni were blessed by the following two devotional talks encouraging us to continue to grow in wisdom and to be strengthened in our vocations, even in these uncertain times.

Wisdom in uncertain times: Former Oxford Pastorate Chaplain, Emilie Noteboom, reflects on Matthew 7: 24-27

Dr Emilie Noteboom is the Director of Outreach of the European Coalition for Israel, a Christian organisation that fights anti-semitism. She holds a D.Phil. in political theory. Prior to coming to Oxford she practised law at the bar in Amsterdam.

Vocation in uncertain times: Former Oxford Pastorate Chaplain, Christian Hofreiter, offers some thoughts on Nehemiah.

Revd Dr Christian Hofreiter is Director of RZIM Austria, Germany and Switzerland, a research fellow at the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics. He studied theology at Oxford University, earning three degrees (M.A., M.St., D.Phil.). Prior to Oxford, Christian worked in a government relations firm in Washington, D.C.
