Anglican priest and poet Rev Geoffrey Studdert Kennedy, better known as Woodbine Willie because of his propensity to give out woodbine cigarettes along with Bible verses and comforting words to the wounded, was seen as a hero on the Western Front during the First World War.

As we commemorate one hundred years since the start of the First World War, CWR commissioned us to create a short trailer for their book. Shot in London with the author Revd Dr Jonathan Brant, Whitestone used our Sony FS700 as well as creating the immersive pieces of animation.
