COVID-19 Crisis: Support available from the Oxford Pastorate chaplains
t this extraordinary time, as we all adjust to life in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak, we want you to know that the Oxford Pastorate team are well and continuing to serve and minister to the postgraduate and research community using the remarkable communications technologies available to us.
We are in contact with many postgraduates and researchers already, but we want to remind everyone that the Pastorate has a team of chaplains who are available to support anyone who would value a conversation (on the phone or via another online platform) at this time.
The Pastorate works with students from all religious traditions and all backgrounds. Our team all share a Christian faith, and are happy to discuss questions of belief or simply to offer a listening ear and supportive advice as together we navigate this unprecedented global crisis.
We are very much aware that this is a time of loneliness and uncertainty for many, and we want you to know that we are ready to support you as best we can.
