Support Us
The Oxford Pastorate’s work relies upon the generous support of men and women who partner with us in serving the students of Oxford University. We are immensely grateful for this long history of faithful support – from the nineteenth-century philanthropists who had the vision to create and endow the original trust, through the many generations of alumni of our programmes who faithfully pray and donate, onto current students who volunteer their time and give to our work.

Peter Sloman
— Read BioDr Peter Sloman, Senior Lecturer in British Politics, University of Cambridge. "I was part of the Oxford Pastorate's 'Associates' group. I found it really helpful to spend time in prayer and discussion with postgrads and post-docs from other disciplines, and to learn from older Christians about their lives and careers. I'd certainly encourage students to get involved in the Pastorate's programmes; it's a great opportunity to connect with Christians from different backgrounds, and to think about what vocation looks like in the university and the church."

Jieun Baek
— Read BioJieun Baek, DPhil in Public Policy "As a member of Christians in Academia, I grappled with very challenging concepts, discussions, and readings that explored integrating vocation and my Christian faith. By delving into these topics in an intellectually diverse environment among fellow Christian academics, I came out of the program feeling more empowered and inspired by my faith to be a good steward of my resources, opportunities, and access to institutions to make positive changes in this world."
