Vision Day 2026
10:00am-5:00pm, Saturday 16th May 2026
Chaplaincy
In recent years we have invited current Oxford postgraduates and postdocs to join us for Vision Day in Trinity term - a chance to consider your own calling and to catch a vision for what God might be doing in your field of work and the places and countries you are committed to. How might God use you? What would your vision statement be as you leave Oxford now or in years to come?
This year we are joined by Rt Revd Dr Graham Tomlin in the morning to talk about mission and this cultural moment in which we see greater openness to Christian faith. In the afternoon we have Nick Gulliver, Oxford graduate and now Director of Advocacy at Economics of Mutuality Alliance where he works with universities and companies to find profitable solutions to the problem of loneliness and Ben Nicka, postdoc at Oxford looking at theology and research fund investing and former Senior Manager at Deloitte. After input from our speakers we'll spend time workshopping ideas and writing our own vision statements.
The day is hosted at St Hilda's rooftop rooms with lunch and coffee provided and a drinks reception to end.
Spaces are strictly limited - early sign up is recommended. Book your place here!
